A place that remembers every visitor

Arnot Forest Lodge sits where the old growth stands tallest — deep in the heart of Tompkins County, where the canopy closes overhead and the air tastes like pine and possibility. We didn't build this place to be just another stop on the way somewhere. We built it to be the somewhere.

Every beam, every window, every stone in our hearth was chosen with the same intention: to make you feel, the moment you step inside, that you've arrived somewhere real. Not a resort. Not a rental. A home in the woods that welcomes you like an old friend.

Hiking the Arnot

Miles of old-growth forest trails start right from our doorstep. From gentle walks to steep ridges, the woods are your playground.

Stargazing

No streetlights. No glow. Just the Milky Way arcing over the treetops, visible from our porch or your own quiet corner.

Farm-to-Table

Breakfast made from local eggs, fresh bread, and seasonal fruit from nearby farms. We don't do continental — we do considerable.

Unplug & Restore

The best thing about being this far off the grid is that nothing expects anything from you. Read. Nap. Stare at the trees. It's all valid.
